Description: HLA-DR is a transmembrane glycoprotein composed of an alpha chain (36 kDa) and a beta chain (27 kDa). LN3 is reactive with a non-polymorphic antigen of the HLA-DR (Ia) region, expressed primarily by antigen presenting cells, B cells of the germinal centers and mantle zones, and additionally by monocytes, macrophages and interdigitating histiocytes.
