Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC
Protein Family: Cytokines
Pathway and Disease: Immune System, Signal Transduction, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Description:
Interleukin 10 (IL-10) is a cytokine produced primarily by monocytes and to a lesser extent by lymphocytes. IL-10 has pleiotropic effects in immunoregulation and inflammation such as inhibiting synthesis of IFN-gamma, IL-2, IL-3, TNF and GM-CSF produced by activated macrophages and helper T-cells. Defects in IL-10 are a cause of susceptibility to Crohn disease, an inflammatory bowel disease.
Alternate Names: Interleukin-10, IL-10, Cytokine synthesis inhibitory factor, IL10
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IHC: 1:200-1:500
Accession No.: P22301
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the center region of human IL-10.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4 with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-G affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
