Protein Family: Cytokines

Pathway and Disease: Immune System, Signal Transduction, Signaling Molecules and Interaction

Alternate Names: Interleukin-33, IL-33, interleukin-1 family member 11, IL-1F11, Nuclear factor from high endothelial venules, NF-HEV, IL33, C9orf26, NFHEVDescription:
Interleukin-33 (IL-33) binds to IL1RL1/ST2 and activates a signaling pathway involving MYD88, IRAK1, IRAK4 and TRAF6 followed by phosphorylation of MAP kinases. IL-33 induces T helper type-2 associated cytokines. Recombinant Human IL-33 produced in E. coli is a non-disulfide-linked homodimeric non-glycosylated polypeptide chain consisting of 160 amino acids with a MW of 18,125 Da.

Source: E. coli. Endotoxin level as measured by LAL is <0.01ng/ug or <0.1EU/ug.

Applications: E, WB

Accession No.: O95760

MW: 18125 Da

Purity:
Purity > 95% as determined by RP-HPLC and reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE. Protein Content determined by UV spectroscopy at 280 nm. Quantitation on SDS-PAGE against a known standard.

Format:
Each vial contains 10 ug protein lyophilized in 10 mM sodium phosphate pH7.5. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml sterile deionized water for a final concentration of 0.1 mg/ml.

Storage: Store at -20°C. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment. Following reconstitution, store at -20°C. We recommend to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) for long term storage.
