Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC
Protein Family: Enzymes, Protein Kinases
Pathway and Disease: Folding, Sorting and Degradation, Signal Transduction, Cell Communication, Endocrine System, Immune System, Cancers, Infectious Diseases
Description:
Stress-activated protein kinase JNK1 (JNK1/3) responds to activation by environmental stress and pro-inflammatory cytokines by phosphorylating a number of transcription factors, primarily components of AP-1 such as JUN, JDP2 and ATF2 and thus regulates AP-1 transcriptional activity. In T-cells, JNK1 and JNK2 are required for polarized differentiation of T-helper cells into Th1 cells.
Alternate Names: JNK1, JNK3, Mitogen-activated protein kinase 8, Stress-activated protein kinase JNK1, c-Jun amino-terminal kinase 1, c-Jun N-terminal kinase 1, JNK-46, MAPK8, Mitogen-activated protein kinase 10, Stress-activated protein kinase JNK3, c-Jun N-teminal kinase 3, MAP kinase p49 3F12, MAPK10, JNK3A, PRKM10
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IHC: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: P45983; P53779
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the human JNK1/3.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 1% BSA with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-G affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
