Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC
Protein Family: Receptors and Channels

Pathway and Disease: Nervous and Sensory Systems, Membrane Transport

Description:
Intermediate conductance calcium-activated potassium channel protein 4 (KCa3.1) forms a voltage-independent potassium channel that is activated by intracellular calcium. Activation of KCa3.1 is followed by membrane hyperpolarization which promotes calcium influx. The channel is blocked by clotrimazole and charybdotoxin but is insensitive to apamin.

Alternate Names: Intermediate conductance calcium-activated potassium channel protein 4, SKCa 4, SKCa4, SK4, KCa3.1, KCa4, IKCa1, IK1, Putative Gardos channel, KCNN4, IK1, IKCA1, KCA4, SK4

Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IHC: 1:100-1:500

Accession No.: O15554

Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the N-term region of human KCa3.1.
