Background:
KREMEN1 is a high-affinity dickkopf homolog 1 (DKK1) transmembrane receptor that functionally cooperates with DKK1 to block wingless (WNT)/beta-catenin signaling. This protein is a component of a membrane complex that modulates canonical WNT signaling through lipoprotein receptor-related protein 6 (LRP6). It contains extracellular kringle, WSC, and CUB domains.
Other Names:
Kremen protein 1, Dickkopf receptor, Kringle domain-containing transmembrane protein 1, Kringle-containing protein marking the eye and the nose, KREMEN1, KREMEN, KRM1
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP7594a was selected from the N-term region of human KREMEN1. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Gene Name: KREMEN1
Gene ID: 83999
Primary Accession: Q96MU8
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
