KRT14 FISH Probe is used to detect KRT14 gene aneusomy.
The KRT14 gene, located on chromosome 17q21.2, encodes members of the keratin family that form the cytoskeleton of epithelial cells. KRT14 mutations are frequently observed in skin cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer, thyroid hurthle cell adenoma, and ductal carcinoma in situ.
