Nematode Growth Medium (NGM)

Standard formulation for use in Nematode growth studies

Contains:
- Agar: 17.5 g/L
- Sodium Chloride: 3.0 g/L
- Peptone: 2.5 g/L

Supplied with:
- Cholesterol: 0.005 g/L

Dissolve Agar, NaCl, and Peptone mix in desired volume of H2O (23.0 g/L) and autoclave. Dissolve 5.0 mg cholesterol (supplied) per 1.0 mL ethanol (do not autoclave!) and add to the autoclaved Agar, NaCl, and Peptone solution.
