Horse Radish Peroxidase (HRP) is a versatile tool for a variety of applications including immunohistochemistry and ELISA assays. This requires the labeling of different antibodies, often in small amounts. The TagOn™HRP Protein Labeling Kit is designed for simple and fast labeling of proteins, particularly antibodies, with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP).HRP is first activated under precise conditions to generate an optimal number of reactive aldehyde groups which are subsequently conjugated with amine-containing molecules via reductive amination reaction. The conjugation of the PolyHRP occurs through reaction with secondary amine on lysine residues or terminal amino groups on target proteins to form a stable covalent secondary amine linkage.
Features:
- The TagOn™ PolyHRP Protein Labeling Kit is simple and designed for fast labeling of proteins with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP).
- The Kit is ideally suited to label antibodies or other proteins like lectins.
- PolyHRP is activated under conditions to generate an optimal number of reactive aldehyde groups that are subsequently conjugated with amine-containing molecules.
Kit Components include:
Each Kit contains all the necessary components required for at least five labeling reactions.
- Aldehyde-ActivatedHRP (Lyophilized Powder)
- Reaction Buffer (100 mM NaHCO3, pH 9)
- Reduction Buffer (5M Sodium Cyano- borohydride solution), supplied as two components to be mixed before the reaction.
- Quenching Buffer (1M Glycine with preservative)
- G-25 desalting spin column (5X)
- Complete instructions for a step-by-step guide for convenient and easy protein labeling with polyHRP.
