The TGFBR2 Break Apart Probe detects rearrangements of the TGFBR2 gene.
The TGFBR2 gene, located on chromosome 3p24.1, regulates transcription and cell proliferation. The deletion of the 3p chromosomal region is reported in many solid tumors involving cancer. Mutations, deletions, and rearrangements of TGFBR2 are frequently observed in many diseases including chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), glioblastoma, breast, colorectal, stomach, prostate, liver, oral, pancreatic, ovarian, renal, and cervical cancers.
Empire Genomics has developed a TGFBR2 Break Apart FISH Probe that can be used to detect TGFBR2 gene rearrangements. The probe comes labeled in orange and green, and you may also choose to customize the probe to meet your needs.
