The THADA FISH Probe is used to detect THADA gene aneusomy.
The THADA gene, located on chromosome 2p21, induces thyroid adenomas. Chromosomal translocations, t(2;3)(p21;p25) and t(2;7)(p21;p15), are the cause of the benign adenomas, which are noncancerous, but can become enlarged and bothersome, and sometimes lead to hyperthyroidism.
Empire Genomics has developed a THADA FISH Probe which can be used to detect THADA gene aneusomy. The probe comes labeled in green, and you may also choose to customize the probe to meet your needs.
