The TLK2 FISH Probe is used to detect TLK2 gene aneusomy.
Kinase target, TLK2, located on 17q23.2, is frequently amplified in chromosome 17 and is found in ~10.5% of ER+ breast tumors. This amplification correlates with poor clinical outcome for breast cancer patients and an even worse outcome for those with ER+ breast cancer.
