Yeast Extract

Aqueous extract of autolysed brewer's yeast
Has a high vitamin content, providing excellent growth factors for most microorganisms
Is usually added to culture media to provide a source of vitamins at a concentration of 3-5 g/L

After opening, tightly recap and place the container in a low humidity environment at room temperature, also protect from strong light sources. The dehydrated powder should be discarded if it is not free flowing and the color has changed from the original light beige.
