For classifying yeasts based on amino acid and carbohydrates requirements
Requires addition of a carbon source
Does not contain histidine, methionine, trypophan, or ammonium sulfate
pH: 4.5
Working Concentration: 17 mg/L (single-strength) or 1.7 g/L (10X)
Can be supplemented with choice amino acids
Dehydrated Appearance: light yellowish-beige, homogeneous powder
Prepared Appearance: single-strength solution is colorless to very pale yellow agar; 10X solution is yellow agar
Soluble in water

Contains:
- Monopotassium phosphate
- Magnesium sulfate
- Calcium Chloride
- Sodium Chloride
- Inositol
