YPD Broth

For propagation and maintenance of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and other yeast species for molecular studies
Dehydrated Appearance: beige, homogeneous powder
Prepared Appearance: light to medium amber broth
Soluble in water

Contains :
- Dextrose: 20g/L
- Bacto Peptone: 20g/L
- Yeast Extract: 10g/L

Final pH (@25°C): 6.5 ±0.2

Direction to use: Suspend 50g of powdered media per liter of distilled water. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes.
