Isotype: mouse IgG1
Applications: FC
Protein Family: CAM Ligands, Cellular Antigens, Enzymes
Pathway and Disease: Cofactor and Vitamin Metabolism, Immune System, Signal Transduction, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Description:
The CD38 (HIT2) antibody recognizes a 45-kDa single chain type-II transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on thymocytes, activated T and B cells, hematopoietic progenitors and terminally differentiated B cells/plasma cells (at high levels). CD38 antigen is also present on monocytes, dendritic cells, NK cells and some epithelial cells. CD38 is a NAD glycohydrolase and is a regulator of cell activation and proliferation, and also involved in adhesion between human lymphocytes and endothelial cells.
Alternate Names: CD38, ADP-ribosyl cyclase 1, Cyclic ADP-ribose hydrolase 1, cADPr hydrolase 1, T10
Application Notes: FC with whole blood: 100 μl blood + 20 μl antibody; FC with cells: 10E6 cells + 20 μl antibody. FC: 1:200-1:1,000
Accession No.: P28907
